Finance Manager

Part-time self-employed Finance Manager

You will:

  • Provide part time, professional book keeping, accounting and management reporting services - the focus on the team is to help the business be more successful (not just file the VAT return and do annual accounts!)
  • Look after the day to day book keeping, accounting, credit control, payroll, VAT and management reporting for clients and give them financial visibility, peace of mind and more time to do work they enjoy

Ideally you will be:

  • an experienced bookkeeper or accounts assistant and are experienced in payroll/ RTI/ credit control/ VAT returns/ month end journals/ bank recs and can prepare a simple P&L account/ balance sheet/ control account recs/ variance analysis
  • familiar with Sage line 50 and Xero, and are a competent Excel user
  • able to work independently but also happy working as part of a team and using established processes and methods

Part-time self-employed Financial Controller

You will:

  • Provide part time, professional finance management and financial controller services to SME’s - the focus on the team is to help the business be more successful and to help them structure a highly effective finance department
  • Look after the finance function for clients and bring them financial visibility, peace of mind and more time to do work they enjoy

Ideally you will be:

  • an experienced 'hands on' financial controller with a good knowledge of IFRS & ERP systems and have used Sage and Xero
  • able to lead and organise a finance function, and can quickly get to the point of problems and implement improvements
  • able to work independently but also happy working as part of a team and using established processes and methods

An exciting opportunity for an experienced commercially minded FD, Business Development or General Manager, with strong relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial approach, to develop the territory for YRH.

This dynamic opportunity will appeal to entrepreneurial individuals with a background or experience in business development; and a strong understanding of financial planning and reporting tools. You will be seeking a new challenge and the flexibility self-employed and self-directed working, whilst working within the proven framework of an SME business with huge potential.

You will:

  • Create new business prospects through proactive networking and relationship building with new / existing partners and business contacts
  • Follow up new business prospects and win new clients
  • Manage existing accounts and develop business in liaison with the existing portfolio of clients
  • Lead the team of Financial Controllers and Bookkeepers delivering services to clients
  • Have full accountability for managing and further developing our business in the region
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and prospects; and activity reports within the CRM system
